Intro to Ice Climbing Course


No prerequisites are required. Rental gear is included (boots, crampons, ice tools, harness, and helmet). Instruction will be given on the equipment, how to belay and basic ice climbing technique. This course is 1.5 hr long plus an additional half an hour before the start of the course to get your rental gear. MUST be over the age of 14. Book your lesson using the calendar below.

Private Lessons


No prerequisites are required. Rental gear is included (boots, crampons, ice tools, harness, helmet). Private lessons are 1.5 hr long. The cost is $90 for one person and $40 for each additional person to a maximum of 6. Depending on participant(s’) experience, lessons can either focus on belaying, equipment, or beginner to intermediate ice climbing technique. For all ages. Book your lesson using the calendar below.

Intro to Drytooling


Prerequisites:

  • Must be able to top rope belay with belay device of choice and tie in with a well dressed figure 8

  • Previous ice climbing experience required. (TR: WI4, or climb ice wall with no takes/falls, or rock climb 5.10a)

This course will teach you the basics of drytooling on our competition plywood wall! we will cover a range of topics from movement techniques, different hooking techniques, tool management/grip positions, and proper stein pulling technique. If you are looking to learn some new climbing skills for the plywood and the mountains or just a new challenge outside of ice climbing this course will be an excellent intro to some basic mixed/drytooling techniques.

Bookings are 1.5hrs long and include free rental of crampons with plywood frontpoints
